Services

We do three things: run paid advertising, develop software, and operate subscription-based online services. Clients come to us for one and often end up using all three, because each one works better when the people doing it understand the other two.

Advertising services

We plan, build and manage paid media accounts on Google Ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Microsoft Advertising. The work ranges from setting up a first account properly to taking over and restructuring accounts with substantial monthly budgets.

Our emphasis is on measurement. Before scaling spend we make sure conversions are tracked accurately, attributed sensibly and reconciled against the client's own records, so that bidding decisions and reports rest on figures everyone trusts.

Typical work

  • Account and campaign structure, naming and budget planning
  • Search, Performance Max, Shopping, display and video on Google
  • Prospecting and retargeting campaigns on Meta
  • Search and audience campaigns on Microsoft Advertising
  • Conversion tracking, server-side tagging and enhanced conversion setup
  • Smart bidding strategy, pacing and ongoing optimisation
  • Ad copy and creative rotation, landing-page recommendations
  • Monthly reporting with spend, results and next steps in plain language

Software development

We design and build web applications, mobile apps and the back-end services behind them. Projects are scoped in writing, delivered in short increments that can be reviewed as they land, and handed over with documentation and source code owned by the client.

Much of our work involves systems that take payments, manage subscriptions or exchange data with third-party platforms. We are used to the practical details of billing, authentication, data protection and release management that those systems require.

Typical work

  • Web applications and customer-facing websites
  • Native and cross-platform apps for iOS and Android
  • APIs, back-end services and databases
  • Payment, subscription and invoicing integrations
  • Analytics, tagging and data pipelines
  • Integrations with advertising, CRM and email platforms
  • Code review, refactoring and modernisation of existing systems
  • Hosting setup, monitoring and ongoing maintenance

Operating SaaS products

Alongside client work, the partnership develops and operates its own subscription-based online services. These are consumer and business web products with recurring billing, used by customers in several countries.

Running software as a live service means dealing every day with hosting, uptime, payment processing, chargebacks, customer support, content and regulatory compliance. We do not list these products here, but the operating experience is directly relevant to clients who are launching or scaling a subscription business of their own, and we are glad to advise on it.

What operating involves

  • Infrastructure, deployment and monitoring
  • Subscription billing, dunning and payment-provider relationships
  • Customer support processes and tooling
  • Pricing, retention and lifecycle communications
  • Consumer-protection, privacy and payment-network compliance
  • Advertising for our own products on the same platforms we manage for clients

Ways of working together

Three commercial models cover almost everything we do. Each starts with a short written scope and a fixed set of deliverables or responsibilities.

Project

A defined piece of software or an account build with a fixed scope, timeline and price. Suits new builds, migrations and one-off restructures.

Monthly retainer

A set number of days each month for development, maintenance or advertising management, with priorities agreed at the start of the month.

Managed service

We take responsibility for an outcome, such as running advertising accounts or keeping a platform live, under a service agreement with defined responsibilities and reporting.

Commercial terms

Advertising budgets are paid by the client directly to the advertising platform wherever possible; we charge a management fee separately. Client ad accounts, source code, domains and data remain the client's property throughout. Invoices are issued in GBP, EUR or USD and payable by bank transfer. Specific terms are set out in a written agreement for each engagement.
